Hey, I'm Tofa.
Girl dad. Security engineer. Builder of things that probably shouldn't work.
First and most important: girl dad. That's the thing I care most about getting right. Everything else — the job, the side projects, this blog — fits around that.
By day I work in cloud security and network infrastructure, helping enterprise teams figure out what's actually broken before someone else does. By night (and early morning, and during nap time) I'm in the terminal building things. The current obsession is Agu — a personal AI agent that runs on my laptop, remembers my life, and texts me back on Telegram. At midnight I asked him to register visitor parking for a car arriving the next morning. He did it, sent me a screenshot, and went back to doing whatever agents do when nobody's watching. My wife finds this excessive. I think she's wrong.
I write here because most AI tutorials show the happy path and skip the part where everything breaks in ways the documentation didn't mention. That part is more interesting — and more useful.
I take on a small number of projects outside my day job. If any of it sounds like something you need, you know where to find me.
